Who can participate?
Registration is open to UCSD students of all levels and backgrounds. We encourage everyone to apply and share their own unique perspectives, knowledge, and skills!
How big can my team be?
Teams can be a minimum of 3 and a maximum of 4. Teams will not be assigned, so feel free to make your own or join one on Design Co’s Discord channel #frontiers-23.
How long is Design Frontiers?
Design Frontiers will be a single-day event on Saturday, May 20th from 9 AM-5 PM. Lunch will be provided! See the Timeline for a more detailed breakdown of the schedule.

Where is the Design and Innovation Building?
DIB is located next to the Pepper Canyon Trolley Station, with entrances located across from the Structural Materials and Engineering building or next to the Regents Loop shuttle stop. Design Frontiers will be hosted in Room 208 on the second floor.
When is the deadline to register?
Registration closes Wednesday, May 17th at 11:59 PM. We will cap the event at 60 participants, so register early!
How should I prepare for Design Frontiers if I have no design experience?
We’ll be hosting a Cruising Through Design Frontiers workshop on Wednesday, May 17 at 6:30 PM in DIB Room 208!
